As someone deeply passionate about fitness and well-being, I’ve always sought to push the boundaries of what’s possible when it comes to helping people achieve their best selves. That’s why hosting the first of its kind Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) Expert Panel in Houston, TX wasn’t just another event for me—it was the culmination of years of hard work and dedication to a technology that I truly believe can revolutionize the way we approach health, recovery, and

fitness.


The evening was nothing short of inspiring. I was honored to welcome some of the world’s top EMS experts, including Jemima Steinhart, a pioneer in the industry, Dr. Nick Bauer, a PhD Osteopath, and Richard Neidlein, a Sports Medicine Scientist, whose combined expertise has propelled EMS into the spotlight globally. We gathered at The Fit Co-op in River Oaks, and for two hours, the room buzzed with excitement, curiosity, and a collective sense of discovery as

we discussed the potential of EMS. Let me take you inside that evening, sharing some of the most impactful moments and why I’m more convinced than ever that EMS is the future of fitness.

Her family had struggled with diabetes, and she was determined to break that cycle.


"When I first tried EMS, I couldn’t sleep for three nights,” Jemima told the audience. “I knew immediately that this technology had the potential to change lives." And change lives, it has.

Jemima’s EMS Secrets Mastermind has expanded from Germany to Dubai, and now, with our first-ever EMS panel in the U.S., her dream of bringing EMS stateside is becoming a reality. Listening to her story, I felt a renewed sense of purpose in what we’re building here in Houston​.

The backbone of EMS is science, and Dr. Nick Bauer brought that to life during the panel. With a PhD Osteopath, Dr. Bauer has seen firsthand how EMS can accelerate recovery from injuries and prevent muscle atrophy.


“After surgeries like knee replacements, we start EMS therapy immediately,” Dr. Bauer

explained. “By applying EMS to the injured area, we can help muscles regain normal function faster.” His insights were invaluable for those in the audience dealing with injury recovery or chronic conditions. What stood out to me was how EMS isn’t just a supplement to traditional fitness but a key component of rehabilitation and even fusion therapy in Germany and the U.S. Dr. Bauer’s message was clear: EMS is not a gimmick—it’s a scientifically proven method to enhance both fitness and recovery​.


Breaking the Myths: Richard Neidlein’s Perspective

Of course, with any groundbreaking technology, myths abound, and Richard Neidlein, a Sports Science expert, was quick to address them. One of the most common misconceptions is that EMS isn’t as effective as traditional exercise. Richard debunked that myth with hard data: a recent study showed that after an EMS session, 80% of the same genes activated during traditional exercise were expressed three hours post-workout. The takeaway? EMS doesn’t just complement traditional workouts—it rivals them​.


Another myth he tackled head-on was the fear that EMS could cause Rhabdomyolysis, a

condition where intense exercise can damage muscles and harm the kidneys. Richard set the record straight: “Any form of overtraining can lead to this condition, whether it’s running a marathon or doing heavy gym work.” With proper training and guidance, EMS is not only safe—it’s a powerful tool to combat issues like sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss), which is becoming a major health concern worldwide​.

It’s about building community, giving people the tools to take control of their health, and empowering others to share those benefits​.
